Cargo Information
Prishtina International Airport offers different Cargo services in a fast, effective and professional way. Security is a key advantage for us thus we examine all the cargo by the most modern x-ray machines. With up to date security system, modern technological equipment and video surveillance, we guarantee a fast and efficient flow of cargo.
Importers and exporters of goods in Kosovo who want to carry their goods via air transport, from April 2009 have at their disposal, the new route and a special plane for goods’ transportation.
The prestigious company Turkish Airlines launched a new route of Cargo, which initially operates once a week, every Thursday, at destinations Istanbul-Prishtina-Milano, which is a link of Kosovo with Asia and Western Europe.This is a regular route with sufficient capacity, through the Turkish Airlines, which has made available an aircraft Airbus 310 type.
So far, we have almost all the worldwide Companies like Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and couriers FEDEX, UPS, TNT, DHL and International Freight Forwarders like Aes Cargo & Move One, AGS, Interdean Interconex operating in Kosovo and all of them are transporting their goods via our Airport and using.
CARGO FACILITIES:

Refrigerator for storing Cool Shipments
Forklift for load and offload of 5 Tons capacity
Available forklifts and movable elevators.
Cargo storage time limit: 24 days, perishable goods 1 day.
Note: The sender will pay additional warehouse fee, if goods are not taken within this limited time (24 days).
Cold storage: Available,
Valuables security: Not Available.
Each transport Company must organize immediately pick of the shipment after the arrival.
